Written Verdict in Toshakhana-II Case Released: Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi Handed 17-Year Prison Sentences

Islamabad: The written judgment in the Toshakhana-II case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has been made public.

Special Judge Central Arjumand Shah sentenced **Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to a cumulative 17 years in prison each** and imposed a **fine of Rs164.25 million per person**. The court ruled that the prosecution successfully proved its case and declared both accused guilty of **criminal breach of trust**.

According to the written verdict, **Imran Khan was awarded 10 years of imprisonment under Section 409 of the Pakistan Penal Code**, while an additional **7-year sentence was imposed under the Anti-Corruption Act**. Bushra Bibi was also sentenced to **17 years in prison on similar charges**.

The court further ordered that **each convict must pay a fine of Rs164,250,650**, failing which they will have to undergo an additional **six months of imprisonment**.

The judgment noted that **leniency was shown in sentencing due to Imran Khan’s advanced age and Bushra Bibi being a woman**, and that the **period already spent in custody has been adjusted toward their sentences**.

The verdict marks a significant legal development in the high-profile Toshakhana-II case involving allegations of misuse of state gifts.
