Snowfall Hits Northern Regions of Saudi Arabia, Disrupts Daily Life

Riyadh: Northern regions of Saudi Arabia experienced heavy snowfall and rain on Wednesday, accompanied by severe cold, affecting daily life in several cities.
In the Tabuk region, the famous tourist spot of Trojena, located on Jabal Al-Lawz at an altitude of 2,600 meters, was covered in snow. Light rainfall was also reported in the area.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rainfall occurred in Baer bin Harmas, Al-Ainah, Ammar, Shaqra, and surrounding areas.

The Meteorology Department has warned that further snowfall is expected on Thursday in northern Riyadh and the Al-Qassim region. Snowfall had also been recorded earlier on Wednesday in the Tabuk and Hail regions.
Experts have cautioned that temperatures are likely to drop further over the next few days, urging residents to take necessary safety measures.
