According to a private TV channel, the groom’s friends, who had arrived from Italy, added excitement to the event by throwing banknotes into the air, creating a scene that quickly grabbed attention.
Videos of the currency shower have gone viral on social media. Witnesses said that when the wedding procession reached a marriage hall on GT Road from the Chhachhar Wali area, the groom’s friends showered currency notes from the rooftop of the venue.
