Newyork: Renowned American industrialist and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has become the first individual in the world to reach a net worth of $600 billion.

According to the Forbes global financial magazine, this milestone comes amid reports that Musk’s space company SpaceX may go public next year, with a potential valuation of $800 billion.

Reuters reported that Elon Musk owns approximately 42% of SpaceX shares. Forbes stated that if SpaceX achieves the projected valuation upon going public, Musk’s net worth could increase by an additional $168 billion, raising his estimated total wealth to $677 billion.

It is noteworthy that Musk also became the first person to surpass the $500 billion mark in October of this year.
