*Karachi:* Renowned actor and director Yasir Nawaz has responded to criticism by actress Fiza Ali over a statement made by his wife, television host Nida Yasir, urging her to stop targeting Nida on social media.
The controversy began after remarks made by Nida Yasir about delivery riders during her morning show went viral online, sparking widespread criticism. Fiza Ali later shared a video criticizing Nida Yasir over the statement.
In a video message addressing Fiza Ali, Yasser Nawaz said, “Please leave my innocent wife alone. You are becoming famous day by day by repeatedly mentioning my wife. How many times will you criticize her? She made an unintentional mistake.”
Speaking with a smile, he added, “It is true that Allah forgives, but people do not. My sister, please forgive her and put an end to this matter. You have already gained enough attention—now move on. Focus elsewhere; there are better ways to become famous.”
Yasser Nawaz’s response came after Fiza Ali’s critical video regarding Nida Yasir’s remarks. It is noteworthy that Nida Yasir has already issued an apology for her comments about delivery riders.
