Armed Forces Safeguarded National Sovereignty Under Field Marshal’s Leadership: Bilawal Bhutto
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that under the leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s armed forces successfully safeguarded the country’s sovereignty and dignity.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the National Games, Bilawal Bhutto said that teamwork, courage, respect for rules, and the ability to face challenges are not only the essence of sports but also reflect the nation’s core values.

Referring to the country’s defensive response in May, he said the Pakistan Army, Air Force, and Navy demonstrated exceptional professionalism and coordination, ensuring the defense of national sovereignty. He described the achievement as not merely a military victory but a national one, symbolizing public unity, discipline, and the strong bond between the people and their defenders.
The PPP chairman urged that this spirit be carried forward into classrooms, stadiums, educational institutions, and everyday life. He outlined a vision of Pakistan where every child, in every province, has access to sports, education, healthcare, and opportunities for national service; where talent is nurtured, discipline is valued, and unity remains the nation’s greatest strength.
