Toyota Unveils Updated Corolla Sedan with Major Design and Tech Upgrades

Karachi: In exciting news for car enthusiasts, Japanese automaker Toyota has unveiled its newly updated Corolla sedan, developed in partnership with Chinese manufacturer FAW.

According to the company, the new Corolla will be officially launched later this month. The vehicle was first showcased at the Guangzhou Motor Show, where its refreshed design and advanced features drew significant attention.

The exterior has undergone notable updates, particularly at the front, which now reflects styling cues from the latest Toyota Camry and Prius models. The redesigned front grille and headlights give the car a more sporty and premium appearance. While the rear section remains mostly unchanged, a slight increase in overall length enhances the vehicle’s road presence.

The interior has also received major upgrades. Traditional analog meters have been replaced with a new 8.8-inch digital display. Additionally, a large 12.9-inch high-resolution infotainment screen has been installed to deliver an improved user experience. Toyota has also equipped even the base variants with the Toyota Pilot driver-assist system, highlighting the company’s shift toward standardizing advanced safety technology.

Under the hood, the powertrain has been modernized with a hybrid system capable of producing 98 horsepower. In China, sales of the updated model are expected to begin this month, while pricing will be revealed closer to the official launch.

With its revamped design, upgraded features, and hybrid technology, the new Corolla sedan is being regarded as one of Toyota’s most significant updates, expected to attract strong consumer interest and further strengthen the company’s position in the market.
