Unknown Armed Men Attack Residence of PTI Senator Khurram Zeeshan in Peshawar; Employee Injured

Peshawar: The residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator **Khurram Zeeshan Advocate** in Peshawar came under attack late at night when unidentified armed assailants opened fire, injuring one person.

According to **BBC Urdu**, the incident occurred at around **2:30 am**, when **four to five vehicles** carrying armed men reportedly attempted to enter the senator’s residence and resorted to heavy firing.

Police said the intense gunfire shattered the windows of the house and caused property damage. Senator Khurram Zeeshan was **not present** at home at the time of the attack.

Peshawar police official **Farhan Khan** stated that the identity and motives of the attackers remain unknown. A case has been registered, and investigations are underway.

Senator Khurram Zeeshan, while sharing details, said the house belongs to his **father-in-law**, with whom he resides. The FIR has been lodged by his cousin. He added that approximately **20 to 25 armed men** arrived in five vehicles, and their firing injured one of his employees, who sustained a **bullet wound in the back** and is in critical condition.

Police confirmed that Khurram Zeeshan lives in **Phase 2 of Hayatabad**, a major residential area of Peshawar. He was elected to the Senate in **October 2025** on a PTI ticket, securing the seat that became vacant after **Shibli Faraz was disqualified** by the court.

Investigations continue as authorities search for the suspects involved in the attack.
