Barrister Gohar Offers Major Proposal to Government, Urges Lowering Political Temperatures
**Islamabad:** PTI leader Barrister Gohar Khan has extended a significant proposal to the government, suggesting that political tensions can ease if authorities allow PTI leaders to meet Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Speaking to the media, Gohar said, *“Arrange meetings of our leadership and members with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, and you will see positive statements instead of criticism.”*
He stressed that Pakistan cannot afford further escalation. *“If people start drawing swords, it will harm the country, the nation, and democracy. We need to reduce tension and bring down the political temperature,”* he said, adding that harsh rhetoric only benefits the enemies of Pakistan.
Gohar stated that the public is looking toward political leaders for solutions, but the unnecessary confrontation has caused disappointment among the people.
He also expressed concern over the Election Commission’s continued delay in issuing PTI’s certification, saying that without it, the party cannot nominate candidates or sign official documents. *“The idea of banning political parties is wrong. After two years, we are still standing at the same point where we started,”* he added.
Barrister Gohar further noted that Tuesday is designated as the meeting day for Imran Khan, and such meetings must take place.
