Guard of Honor Ceremony Held at GHQ in Honor of Chief of Defence Forces

RAWALPINDI: A prestigious ceremony was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) to honor Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, Chief of Army Staff and newly appointed Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), with a Guard of Honor presented by contingents from all three armed forces.

The ceremony was organized to mark Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s appointment as Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces. Senior military officials, including the Chief of the Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff, were also in attendance.

During the event, the honorary contingent presented a general salute to the chief guest, while Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir inspected the troops, acknowledging their display of discipline and ceremonial precision.
