39 Foreign Nationals, Including 13 Afghans, Arrested in Turbat Attempting Illegal Route to Europe
**Turbat (Qudrat Daily)** – The District Police Kech carried out major operations in Turbat over the past two days, arresting 39 foreign nationals, including 13 Afghan citizens, 2 women, and 7 children, who were attempting to travel to Europe via Iran without proper legal documentation.
SP Kech, Captain (R) Zohaib Mohsin, stated that after preliminary investigations and completion of legal procedures, all individuals will be handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). He added that strict action is ongoing against those involved in illegal cross-border movement and human smuggling towards Iran.
Authorities noted that on December 6, another 26 foreign nationals were arrested and handed over to the FIA. Patrols and checkpoints in the city have been intensified to prevent such illegal movements. Officials confirmed that these operations will continue regularly in the future to curb human trafficking and illegal migration.
