PPP Announces Candidates for Quetta Local Body Elections, Vows Strong Campaign: Liaquat Lehari

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders have announced that the party is participating in Quetta’s local body elections with a focus on public service and aims to achieve strong electoral success. Genuine candidates for Constituency PB-44 and other areas of Quetta have been officially issued party tickets.
The announcement was made during a ceremony at the residence of Provincial Assembly member Haji Obaidullah Gorgij, attended by PPP leaders including Parliamentary Leader Mir Liaquat Lehari, Parliamentary Secretary Sardarzada Samad Gorgij, MPA Sanjay Kumar, and provincial leaders Sanaaullah Jatak, Sardar Imran Bangulzai, Sardar Akram Bangulzai, Abrar Jafar, Mir Khudai Nazar Kabdani, Lal Muhammad Jatak, Rabani Khalji, Dost Muhammad Reki, and Mir Abdul Nabi Samalani.
Speakers emphasized that the provincial leadership has selected candidates who are committed to serving the people in line with PPP’s policies. All candidates for Quetta’s wards have been issued party tickets, and a full-fledged election campaign is set to begin, with participation from central, provincial, and district-level party leaders.
Leaders highlighted that holding local body elections in Quetta will help address public issues at the grassroots level. They reiterated that since its inception, PPP has fought for citizens’ rights and upheld principles without compromise. Party workers have been urged to maintain close contact with the public and conduct door-to-door campaigns to ensure the success of PPP candidates.
The ceremony also included the distribution of official tickets to PPP candidates participating in the Quetta local body elections. Party leaders expressed confidence that PPP candidates will secure a decisive victory across PB-44 and the wider Quetta area.
