Imran Khan Dissolves PTI Political Committee, Grants Full Powers to Salman Akram Raja

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has dissolved the party’s Political Committee, granting full authority to Secretary General Salman Akram Raja.
Speaking to his sister Azma Khan from Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said, “I am officially ending the PTI Political Committee today. Full powers now rest with Secretary General Salman Akram Raja. He will form a new, streamlined committee to devise political strategies and ensure their implementation.”
He further announced that Shahid Khatak has been appointed as PTI’s parliamentary leader in the National Assembly.
Regarding the Pakistan Bar elections, Imran Khan instructed that PTI should unite in fully supporting candidates nominated by Salman Akram Raja and Hamid Khan. He also directed that Suhail Afridi personally review the affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s lawyers, bars, and the ILF, taking necessary decisions to improve the situation.
