Saudi Arabia Pledges $90 Million Grant to Support Palestine

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has announced a new **$90 million grant** to support the Palestinian treasury, reaffirming its continued backing of the Palestinian Authority in 2025.
The grant was received at the Saudi Embassy in Oman by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Istafan Salameh, from Saudi Ambassador to Jordan and Non-Resident Commissioner for Palestine, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud.
Palestinian Deputy President Hussein Al-Sheikh stated that the Saudi grant would strengthen Palestine’s financial stability amid challenging economic conditions. He also praised Saudi Arabia’s consistent and strong stance in support of Palestinian rights.
Prince Mansour bin Khalid emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains committed to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of a free Palestinian state. He added that the financial assistance will help the Palestinian government fulfill its responsibilities and play a key role in addressing public needs in vital sectors such as health and education.
