IHC Suspends Order to Register Case Against Health Services Academy VC in Fake Marriage Dispute

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended a decision to register a criminal case against the Vice Chancellor of the Health Services Academy in a fake marriage controversy involving a female doctor.

Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri issued the stay order while hearing the VC’s petition challenging the earlier ruling.

The court has also issued notices to the female doctor and other parties, seeking their responses.

Previously, an Islamabad Sessions Court had ordered the registration of an FIR against the Vice Chancellor. The VC later approached the IHC, contesting the decision.

The allegations claim that the Vice Chancellor deceived a female doctor into a long-term relationship under the guise of a fake marriage.
