Hezbollah Vows Retaliation for Assassination of Senior Commander Ali Tabatabai
Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem has warned Israel that the group is fully prepared to avenge the assassination of its senior commander, Ali Tabatabai.
According to international media, Naim Qassem paid tribute to Commander Tabatabai, calling him a brave and dedicated soldier. He declared that Hezbollah will exercise its right to self-defense and deliver a decisive response to Israel.
Qassem warned Israel to “prepare itself,” stating that it will soon face a powerful and damaging retaliation for the attack.
He also urged the Lebanese government to restrain Israeli aggression and ensure that national security is not compromised.
Naim Qassem added that Israel, which he described as “the most illegitimate state imposed upon the region,” believes it has the right to occupy and dominate others. “We will correct this misconception,” he vowed.
It is worth noting that a few days earlier, the Israeli military carried out an airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut, killing Hezbollah’s acting Chief of Staff, Ali Tabatabai.
