Imran Khan Held in Complete Isolation for Six Weeks, Claims Son Qasim Khan

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Qasim Khan, son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has said that his father has now been imprisoned for 845 days and has been kept in complete isolation for the past six weeks.
In a statement posted on X, Qasim Khan said that Imran Khan has been confined alone in a “death cell” with no access to the outside world. He added that Khan’s sisters have been barred from meeting him despite clear court orders allowing family visits.
According to Qasim, there have been no phone calls, no meetings, and no information about Imran Khan’s well-being. “My brother and I have been unable to establish any contact with our father,” he said, adding that the situation appears to be a deliberate attempt to hide Khan’s condition from the family.
He stated that the Pakistani government and its “backers” would bear full legal, moral and international responsibility for any consequences arising from this “inhumane isolation.”
Qasim Khan urged the international community, global human rights organizations, and democratic voices worldwide to intervene immediately, ensure proof of life, enforce court-mandated access, end the solitary confinement, and call for the release of Pakistan’s most popular political leader, whom he said is being held solely for political reasons.
