We Will Defend Balochistan’s Coast and Resources at Any Cost: Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and MPA Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch has said that the people of Balochistan are being ruled through media manipulation, false claims, and forced narratives. He stated that the repeated slogan of “everything is fine” has devastated the public and pushed them into greater hardship.

Speaking at various events and meetings in Quetta, he said that the policy of enslaving the people of Balochistan while looting their resources is destructive and unacceptable. There is a vast gap between the rulers’ claims and their actions, he added.

The JI leader said Balochistan’s land is not just soil—it is the trust of their ancestors, the future of their coming generations, and the identity of their existence. “We will protect every inch of our coast and resources, no matter how many sacrifices we have to make,” he said. “This country is ours, this sea is ours, these treasures belong to us, and no power can deprive us of our rights.”

He alleged that powerful groups have taken control of borders, check posts, and coastal areas, which he said is not in the interest of Pakistan or its people. According to him, national resources and authority have been captured by a few powerful elements for their personal gains.

He further claimed that instead of collecting taxes legally for the national exchequer, heavy amounts are ending up in individuals’ pockets in the form of extortion and illegal levies.

Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman said Jamaat-e-Islami is raising its voice at every forum to highlight and resolve the public’s problems. The party will speak out against injustice, corruption, lawlessness, and exploitation from Gwadar to Zhob and Chaman.

He added that those imposed on the nation through Form-47, despite lacking public support, have only increased the people’s suffering. Jamaat-e-Islami’s struggle for the rights of Balochistan will continue, he affirmed.
