35 Dangerous Criminals Arrested in Targeted Operations, Drugs and Weapons Seized in Quetta

Quetta: Quetta police have successfully arrested 35 highly dangerous criminals and recovered large quantities of drugs and weapons during ongoing targeted operations across the province, officials said Thursday.
DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat and SSP Serious Crime Imran Qureshi briefed the media at the Fayyaz Sambal Shaheed Police Lines, highlighting significant achievements over the past five weeks. In Quetta, a gang involved in car lifting was apprehended, resulting in the recovery of 20 stolen vehicles.
A special team was also formed to investigate the high-profile murder case of Hamad Kakak, which occurred on Kuchlak Road, Jameelabad. Acting on professional grounds, the team arrested suspects Atiqa Rehman, Roman Ilyas, and Babar Ali. A pistol, a dagger, and the suspect’s mobile phone were recovered from Babar Ali, while the vehicle used in the crime was seized from Roman Ilyas. A case has also been registered against a weapons dealer for selling firearms without a license.
DIG Imran Shaukat assured citizens that the police will continue their targeted operations to bring criminals to justice and maintain public safety across Balochistan.
