PTI Has Never Attacked Any Province, Says Chairman Gohar; Leaders Renew Allegations of Haripur Rigging

**Peshawar:** Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said that PTI has never attacked any province and never will, emphasizing the party’s commitment to a peaceful political struggle.

Addressing a public gathering in Peshawar, Barrister Gohar said the party was once again disappointed by the events surrounding the Haripur election, but made it clear that PTI would continue its struggle without stepping back.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohaib Afridi, also speaking at the event, said that certain elements do not want the rule of law and the Constitution to prevail in the country. He added that PTI would remain peaceful but would not allow anyone to snatch the people’s rights.

Meanwhile, speaking in Swabi, PTI leader Asad Qaiser accused the government of orchestrating massive rigging in the Haripur election. Criticizing the government’s performance, he said economic policies have “completely failed,” pointing out that unemployment has risen to 7.1%.

Referring to a recent IMF statement, Qaiser claimed that Rs 5,300 billion in corruption occurred over the past three years. He demanded that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) conduct an independent investigation into the alleged corruption.
