14 Pakistanis Arrested in Attempt to Illegally Travel to Iran by Sea: FIA

Gwadar (Daily Qudrat) — The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Gwadar has arrested 14 individuals who were attempting to travel to Iran via the sea route. The arrests were made during a targeted operation in the Jiwani coastal area, where the suspects were preparing to cross into Iran with plans to move onward to other countries.

According to the FIA, the detained individuals belong to various districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Among them, four are from Gujranwala, two each from Faisalabad and Hafizabad, five from Lower Dir, while the remaining three are from Swabi, Mardan, and Malakand.

The FIA has registered a case against the suspects and launched further investigations. The spokesperson stated that the crackdown against human trafficking and illegal border crossings is ongoing, with all available resources being utilized to track down and arrest those involved in such activities.

The spokesperson added that the agency remains committed to enforcing the law and preventing illegal movements and criminal networks operating along Pakistan’s borders.
