Senate Committee to Hold Key Meeting on National Bank Stadium Development in Karachi
Karachi: The Senate Standing Committee on the Cabinet Secretariat will hold a significant two-day meeting on Monday and Tuesday in Karachi, focusing on the development of the National Bank Stadium.
The first session, chaired by Senator Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, will commence at 11 a.m. at the stadium, where cricket-related matters will be discussed. According to the agenda, committee members will conduct a detailed tour of the stadium, and the PCB chairman will deliver a comprehensive presentation on recent construction and development work.
The session will also review the performance and progress at the National Stadium over the past three years. With the permission of the committee chairman, discussions on cricket-related issues will also take place.
Committee members attending the meeting include Senator Farooq Hameed Naik, Senator Saleem Bandiwala, Senator Fauzia Arshad, Senator Saifullah Khan Niazi, Senator Sadia Abbasi, Senator Amil Wali Khan, Senator Anusha Rehman, Senator Ata-ur-Rehman, Senator Amir Waliuddin Chishti, Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, Senator Azam Khan Swati, and Senator Dilawar Khan.
