PML-N Sweeps By-Elections, Wins 6 National and 6 Provincial Assembly Seats

Islamabad — The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured a sweeping victory in the latest by-elections, winning all **six National Assembly seats** and **six out of seven Provincial Assembly seats**. Most of these constituencies were previously held by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), marking a significant political shift.

### **National Assembly Results**

**NA-18 Haripur – Major Upset**
The biggest upset of the by-elections emerged from NA-18 Haripur, where PML-N’s **Babar Nawaz Khan** won with **163,996 votes**, defeating PTI-backed independent candidate **Shehrnaz Umar Ayub**, who secured **120,220 votes**. The seat was vacated following the disqualification of Umar Ayub in the May 9 case.

**NA-129 Lahore**
PML-N’s **Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman** secured victory with **63,441 votes**, while PTI-backed independent **Arsalan Ahmed** trailed behind with **29,099 votes**. The seat fell vacant after the death of PTI’s Mian Azhar.

**NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan**
PML-N’s **Mahmood Qadir Khan** won with **82,416 votes**, defeating PPP’s **Dost Muhammad Khosa**, who received **49,262 votes**. This seat was vacated after PTI’s Zartaj Gul was disqualified.

**NA-143 Sahiwal**
PML-N’s **Muhammad Tufail Jutt** secured a strong win with **136,223 votes**, far ahead of independent candidate **Zarar Akbar Chaudhry** with **13,220 votes**.

**NA-104 Faisalabad**
PML-N candidate **Daniyal Ahmed** secured **52,791 votes**, beating independent **Rana Adnan Javed**, who received **19,262 votes**.

**NA-96 Faisalabad**
PML-N’s **Bilal Badar Chaudhry**, brother of Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, won with **93,009 votes**.

**PP-87 Mianwali**
PML-N’s **Ali Haider Noor Khan Niazi** secured a landslide win with **67,986 votes**, defeating independent **Muhammad Ayaz Khan Niazi**.

**PP-98 Faisalabad**
PML-N’s **Azad Ali Tabassum** won with **44,388 votes**, while independent **Muhammad Ajmal** received **35,245 votes**.

**PP-115 Faisalabad**
PML-N candidate **Muhammad Tahir Pervaiz** received **49,049 votes**, defeating independent **Muhammad Asghar**.

**PP-116 Faisalabad**
PML-N’s **Ahmed Shehryar**, son-in-law of Adviser to PM Rana Sanaullah, won with **48,824 votes**. This seat was vacated following the disqualification of PTI’s Ismail Sila.

**PP-203 Sahiwal**
PML-N’s **Muhammad Hanif** emerged victorious with **46,900 votes**, defeating independent **Falak Sher**.

**PP-73 Sargodha**
PML-N’s **Sultan Ali Ranjha** secured **71,770 votes**, defeating **Mehr Mohsin Raza**.

**PP-269 Muzaffargarh – PPP Victory**
The only Provincial Assembly seat not won by PML-N was PP-269, where **PPP’s Mian Alamdar Abbas Qureshi** won with **55,611 votes**, handing PML-N its sole defeat in provincial contests.
