Indian Tejas Fighter Jet Crashes at Dubai Airshow; Bollywood Stars Slam Modi Government

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — A Tejas fighter jet of the Indian Air Force, which was performing at the Dubai Airshow, crashed and was completely destroyed, sparking strong criticism from leading Bollywood celebrities directed at the Modi government.
According to Indian media, several film stars condemned the crash and stressed the need for stricter safety and testing protocols for military aircraft.
Actress Priyanka Chopra demanded a full and transparent investigation, stating that families of military personnel constantly live in anxiety due to such incidents.
Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan also called for a thorough probe and urged authorities to ensure a safer environment for Air Force personnel.
Actors Shatrughan Sinha, Raj Babbar, and others criticized the Modi administration, emphasizing the need for accountability and enhanced safety standards.
Akshay Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the pilot’s death, saying the entire country shares the grief with the bereaved family and will forever remember the officer who sacrificed his life.
Hrithik Roshan said the incident is a national tragedy, not only for the Indian Air Force but for every Indian citizen. “The whole nation is mourning,” he added.
Superstar Rajinikanth also expressed grief and paid tribute to the pilot who lost his life in the crash.
Authorities in India have announced that further investigations into the cause of the crash are underway.
