Solitary Confinement of Imran Khan Is Illegal, Says Aleema Khan — Warns Nation Against 27th Amendment

Rawalpindi (Qudrat Daily) — Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has said that a “brutal system” is being imposed in Pakistan where the voices of the people are being silenced. She warned that the **27th Constitutional Amendment**, which she says deprives citizens of their right to justice, is not just an injustice against PTI but against the entire nation.
“If the nation does not stand up against this amendment, people will be turned into sheep and cattle,” she said, adding that Imran Khan has repeatedly urged the public to stand up for their rights, as rights are only given to those who demand them.
Speaking outside Adiala Jail while signing yet another arrest warrant, Aleema Khan said she has told authorities to arrest her, “but they don’t.” She added that this was the **11th arrest warrant** they had brought for her signature. “They are attaching my property, blocking my bank accounts, and even my ID card and passport have been suspended,” she claimed.
She further stated that even the bank account of Namal University — where she is merely a signatory like other board members — has been frozen.
Aleema Khan alleged that authorities arrest PTI workers and then pressure family members to leave the protest site in exchange for the workers’ release. “We have told them today — file as many FIRs as you want, put all of us in jail. We are not afraid,” she said. “If we are not allowed to meet Imran Khan today, we will not leave this place.”
She reiterated that **keeping Imran Khan in solitary confinement is illegal** and demanded immediate corrective action.
