Great News for Pakistani Students: Opportunity to Secure Scholarships at Top 100 U.S. Universities

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has opened applications for PhD scholarships at 100 top universities in the United States, offering a golden opportunity for Pakistani students aspiring to pursue advanced research degrees abroad.

According to HEC’s announcement on social media, the scholarships are being offered under the **US–Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project**, aimed at enhancing academic collaboration and expanding opportunities for Pakistani scholars in leading American institutions.

The scholarship program is divided into two categories:

* **Category 1:** Top 50 U.S. universities, where selected scholars will receive full coverage of tuition fees, a stipend, and health insurance.
* **Category 2:** Universities ranked 51–100, where recipients will be awarded an annual tuition grant of USD 12,000 along with a stipend and health insurance.

Applications for the program can be submitted through the HEC website until **April 30, 2026**.
