Woman and Brother-in-Law Arrested for Murdering Husband in Maharashtra

In a shocking incident from Badnapur in India’s Maharashtra state, a woman and her brother-in-law allegedly murdered her husband after developing an illicit relationship.

According to police officials, Parmeshwar Ram Thaide, a resident of Somtana village, was married to a woman named Manisha, and the couple had been living a seemingly peaceful life. However, Manisha reportedly developed an unlawful relationship with her brother-in-law, Gyaneshwar.

When Parmeshwar became suspicious of the relationship between his wife and his brother, the two panicked and plotted to eliminate him. As per the plan, Manisha and Gyaneshwar attacked Parmeshwar with an axe, killing him. They then dumped his body in an isolated area.

Local villagers discovered the body and informed the police, who took custody of the remains and registered a case. Acting on suspicion, police detained Manisha and Gyaneshwar, both of whom confessed to the crime during interrogation.

The gruesome incident has left the entire village in shock and mourning. Police say further investigation is underway, and a formal charge sheet will be submitted to the court soon.
