Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Chief Calls Upcoming Minar-e-Pakistan Gathering a Historic Moment for Province’s Rights

Quetta:Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Ameer and MPA Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch has said that centuries of deprivation, decades of suffering, and long-suppressed cries of the people of Balochistan will once again be presented as a trust under the shadow of Pakistan’s largest monument.
He announced that from November 21 to 23, at Minar-e-Pakistan, the voice of Balochistan’s oppressed people will be delivered to the world in a united and organized manner. “This is not just a public gathering; it is a moment to write history,” he said. “Let us stand together for the rights of Balochistan so that future generations do not say we remained silent.”
He expressed these views during his visit to Loralai, while addressing a review meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami members and officials at Markaz Islami regarding preparations for the upcoming *Ijtema-e-Aam*. The meeting was attended by provincial deputy secretary Nooruddin Ghilzai, Loralai district Ameer Abdul Hameed Nasir, and district general secretary Muhammad Naeem Kakar. Progress on preparations was reviewed and further planning finalized.
Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman said the upcoming gathering would be one of the largest in the country’s history, providing workers with renewed courage, determination, and motivation. He urged all members to participate with their families and friends, stating that the event would become a precursor to spreading virtue, strengthening the call towards Islam, and bringing Islamic reform.
“This land has witnessed many turning points—whenever the people of faith unite, history changes course,” he said. “The Pakistan Ijtema-e-Aam of Jamaat-e-Islami will symbolize faith, unity, and the dawn of change.”
He reaffirmed that Jamaat-e-Islami is committed to continuing the struggle for justice, service, and Islamic values, vowing to bring prosperity to Balochistan and work toward making Pakistan a truly Islamic welfare state.
