Choose Your Diet According to Your Blood Group: B+ Individuals Should Avoid Certain Foods

**Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama)** — While all human blood is red, medical research has established that each person’s **blood group differs** due to specific antigens, a type of protein that determines the blood type. Knowing your blood group is essential, as it helps provide immediate medical care in emergencies or accidents.

**Blood Group and Diet Connection**
Although it may seem surprising, studies suggest that blood group can influence health and dietary needs. Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo, a scientist, wrote a book highlighting that certain foods may benefit some blood groups while being harmful to others.

**Recommended Diet by Blood Group:**

* **Blood Group A:** People with blood group A have lower stomach acidity, making it harder to digest animal proteins and fats. Fresh fruits and vegetables are recommended for optimal health.

* **Blood Group B:** Individuals with blood group B are considered versatile eaters who can digest fruits, vegetables, and meat easily. However, **corn, tomatoes, wheat, and peanuts** should be consumed cautiously, as they can cause digestive issues or weight gain.

* **Blood Group AB:** This rare blood group has low stomach acidity like group A, but people can eat eggs and meat without issues. Eating large meals at once can cause discomfort, so smaller, frequent meals throughout the day are advised.

* **Blood Group O:** People with blood group O have high stomach acidity, making them efficient digesters and able to eat a wide variety of foods. However, excessive sweets and fatty foods can lead to weight gain, so these should be limited.

**Note:** Dr. Peter’s research has received widespread attention, but its findings are not yet fully confirmed experimentally. Individuals can use their blood group as a reference to test the recommendations and adjust their diet accordingly.
