“I Saw Sania During Her Toughest Time, She Had a Panic Attack”: Farah Khan Reveals

Mumbai: Former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza opened up about one of the most challenging periods of her life during a conversation with filmmaker and close friend Farah Khan.
In her show *Serving It Up with Sania*, Mirza discussed the difficulties she faced following her divorce, including the challenges of raising her son alone. Farah Khan reflected, “Sania is now a single mother, and there’s nothing more difficult than being a single parent. Each of us has our own journey, and we must choose what’s best for ourselves.”
Sania admitted that balancing motherhood, work, and studies often leaves her exhausted. She further shared that there was a moment when she felt immense pain and did not want to appear on camera, but Farah visited her on set. “If Farah hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have been able to do the live show,” she revealed.
Farah Khan added that she was deeply concerned, as she had never seen Sania experience a panic attack before and witnessed her friend at her lowest point.
It is noteworthy that Sania Mirza and cricketer Shoaib Malik divorced in 2024. The couple has one son, Izhaan Mirza Malik.
