PAC Declares Appointments of Project Directors in Balochistan Illegal

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** – The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has deemed the appointments of project directors in Balochistan as an improper practice. The committee stated that despite the presence of existing departmental structures, the appointment of project directors violates established rules.

During the meeting, it was noted that these officers are not accountable to any authority, and there is no effective system to monitor project performance. PAC Chairman Asghar Ali Tarin instructed that such appointments should be avoided in the future and called for the establishment of a robust institutional mechanism to oversee projects efficiently.
