Supreme Court Bar Condemns Islamabad Blast, Urges Swift Action Against Perpetrators

Islamabad: The **Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA)** has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in the **heart of Islamabad**, expressing deep sorrow and condolences to the families of the victims.
In an official statement, the SCBA said the incident raises **serious concerns for the safety of both the legal community and ordinary citizens**. It emphasized that **immediate and effective action** is essential against those who disrupt public peace and spread fear among the population.
The Bar Association demanded that the **perpetrators of this brutal act** be brought to justice without delay to **deter similar incidents in the future**. It also called on the federal government to **ensure citizen safety** and implement **measures to prevent such attacks**.
Expressing full solidarity with security forces, the SCBA reaffirmed the need for a **coordinated response** to maintain law and order.
The blast occurred outside the **district courthouse in Islamabad’s G-11 area**, killing **12 people** and injuring **27 others**. Security sources confirmed that the **bodies and over 20 injured** were transported to **PIMS Hospital** for treatment.
