Opposition Alliance Chief Achakzai to Write Letters to Nawaz Sharif and Zardari Over 27th Constitutional Amendment

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Opposition Alliance, under the banner of the *Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aeen Pakistan* (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution), has decided to reach out to leaders of all major political parties regarding the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment.
According to sources, alliance chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai will write letters to key political figures, including Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and heads of other political parties.
The letters will urge the leaders to engage in detailed deliberations over the proposed 27th Amendment, which is currently under political discussion.
Sources further revealed that the opposition alliance has also convened an important meeting today to finalize its strategy and coordinate efforts among member parties.
