Former PTI Information Secretary Ahmed Jawad Arrested in Islamabad

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary of Information Ahmed Jawad has been arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in Islamabad.
According to details, Ahmed Jawad was taken into custody from G-13, Islamabad, under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) after his pre-arrest bail was rejected by the court.
As reported by *Express News*, Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka had earlier heard the bail plea. The FIR stated that during the Pakistan-India conflict, Jawad allegedly shared posts containing false and anti-state content, aimed at ridiculing national institutions and personalities.
After hearing arguments from both sides, Judge Afzal Majoka dismissed Ahmed Jawad’s pre-arrest bail plea, leading to his immediate arrest.
