Sher Afzal Marwat Laments: “The Government We Sacrificed to Form Isn’t Even Submitting Replies in Our Cases”

Peshawar: Member of the National Assembly **Sher Afzal Marwat** has expressed disappointment, saying that the very government formed through their sacrifices is now failing to submit replies in their court cases.

Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Marwat said that cases filed against him by the **provincial government** have been pending for two years, forcing him to continuously attend court hearings.

He clarified that he has **no connection to the May 9 incidents**, and all cases against him were registered afterward.

Commenting on the province’s peace and security situation, Marwat praised the **government’s peace jirga initiative**, calling it a positive step that will help present both the government’s and the people’s perspectives.
