Aircraft Engineers’ Protest Cancels 7 National Airline Flights, Causes Delays Nationwide

Karachi: The protest by aircraft engineers over unpaid salary increases and administrative pressure continued for the second day, resulting in the cancellation of seven flights by the national airline today.
The demonstration has caused delays for 39 flights across the country. The president of the aircraft engineers’ association stated that engineers are dissatisfied with the CEO’s conduct.
A spokesperson for the airline’s management said that no disruption to operations would be tolerated. Meanwhile, the CEO of the national airline has issued orders for strict action against protesting engineers.
The airline administration emphasized that the Essential Services Act is in effect, warning that legal action will be taken against any strike or work stoppage.
