54-Year-Old from Balochistan Completes 35-Day Journey to Gilgit-Baltistan on a CD-70 Motorcycle
Islamabad:A 54-year-old from Balochistan has completed a remarkable 35-day journey to Gilgit-Baltistan on a CD-70 motorcycle.
Muhammad Sharif, a teacher by profession, embarked on this extensive trip from Balochistan and reached the stunning region of Gilgit-Baltistan, concluding his journey at the Khunjerab Pass. Sharif expressed his awe at the natural beauty of the region, describing it as “a paradise on Earth.”
He mentioned, “Allah has truly made Gilgit-Baltistan a paradise. I am thrilled to have experienced its beauty firsthand. I encourage young people to visit and enjoy the splendor of this area.”
Sharif, who has been passionate about traveling since childhood, noted that this was his second trip to Gilgit-Baltistan. He had previously visited the Kalash Valley and is now making his way back home after reaching the Khunjerab Pass.
Remarkably, Sharif completed his journey without staying in any hotels or paying for accommodations. Instead, he was welcomed by the region’s hospitable residents who provided him with lodging and meals throughout his trip. He highlighted, “The hospitality and love of the people here are unparalleled. Their warmth and generosity are beyond words.”
In closing, Muhammad Sharif urged young travelers to explore the northern areas of Pakistan, asserting that they resemble a slice of heaven on Earth.
