Don’t Ask Such Questions,” Says Khawaja Asif When Asked About Alleged Missile Test in Balochistan

Defence Minister Avoids Direct Response; Earlier Dismissed Hypersonic Missile Rumors as Speculation

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat Quetta)** – Defence Minister Khawaja Asif avoided giving a direct answer when asked whether Pakistan had conducted a hypersonic ballistic missile test. He remarked that such matters should not be questioned publicly.

During a private television talk show, when the host asked him about reports of a possible missile test, Khawaja Asif replied, *“Now don’t ask such questions; these are things to be discussed in private.”*

The question arose following the appearance of a rare **lenticular cloud formation over Quetta** early Tuesday morning, which sparked widespread speculation about its origin and connection to a possible missile launch.

Earlier this week, when questioned about similar rumors circulating on social media, the Defence Minister had dismissed them as mere speculation, urging the public not to rely on unverified reports.

The unusual cloud phenomenon continues to fuel debate online, with officials maintaining silence and the Ministry of Defence yet to issue any formal clarification.
