Quetta Metropolitan Corporation Issues Final Notice to Defaulters: 15 Days to Clear Dues or Face Action

Quetta: The **Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ)** has issued a **final warning notice** to plaza owners, leaseholders, and shopkeepers who have failed to pay their **outstanding lease dues**.

According to the notice, despite **multiple reminders and extensions**, many tenants have **not cleared payments since July 1, 2021**. The Corporation has directed all defaulters to **settle their outstanding dues within 15 days**, warning that **strict legal and financial action** will be taken in case of non-compliance.

The MCQ emphasized that this should be treated as the **final notice**, and no further **concessions or extensions** will be granted after the deadline.

A taxation officer of the Metropolitan Corporation stated that, in the **public interest**, the department will take **all necessary legal measures** to ensure full recovery of municipal dues.
