Vehicle Registration in Balochistan Drops Sharply Due to Excise Department’s Inefficiency — Citizens Prefer Registering Vehicles in Other Provinces

**Quetta (Qudrat News)** — The **Public Accounts Committee (PAC)** of the **Balochistan Assembly** has revealed that vehicle registration across the province has **declined alarmingly**, with a growing number of citizens now opting to **register their vehicles in other provinces**.

During the committee meeting, it was disclosed that **lack of an online verification system**, **non-transparent documentation**, and **poor public facilities** have severely **eroded public trust** in the Excise and Taxation Department.

Committee members expressed deep concern over the situation and directed the department to **simplify and digitize the vehicle registration process** to restore public confidence and **boost provincial revenue collection**.

They emphasized that unless the system is made **transparent, efficient, and accessible**, the province will continue to face **financial losses** and a further decline in public engagement with government institutions.
