Father and Son Arrested in KPK for Murder of PPP UC Vice Chairman in Karachi

KARACHI: The Karachi East Zone Investigation Police have arrested a father and son from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their involvement in the murder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Union Council (UC) Vice Chairman Faiq Khan and another man in Shanti Nagar, Dalmia.
According to police, the suspects had opened fire on March 17 this year, killing Faiq Khan in what is believed to be a case of personal enmity. The case was registered at the Aziz Bhatti Police Station.
Police further revealed that the suspects also shot and killed a key witness in the case, identified as Ismail, a few months later. After the killings, both father and son fled to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where they remained in hiding.
The Karachi Investigation Police successfully traced and apprehended the accused, who have now been brought back to Karachi for further investigation. Authorities said the murders were linked to a longstanding feud, and further inquiries are underway.
