Karachi Teen Lured by ‘Honey Trap’, Abducted by Kacha Dacoits; Rs10 Million Ransom Demanded

KARACHI: A 16-year-old boy from Karachi’s Lyari area has reportedly been abducted by dacoits from the Kacha region, who have demanded a ransom of Rs10 million for his release.

According to details, the abducted teenager, identified as Yoman, a resident of Chakiwara, was allegedly lured to Sindh’s Kacha area through a “honey trap.” Police said the boy’s family filed a kidnapping case against unidentified suspects at the Chakiwara Police Station under abduction charges.

Sources revealed that disturbing images and videos of Yoman, chained and in captivity, have been uploaded on social media platforms. The boy is believed to be held in the Kacha area of Ghotki district.

Investigators said the abductors contacted the victim’s family and demanded a ransom of Rs10 million. Preliminary findings suggest that Yoman was tricked into traveling to Ghotki before going missing.

According to the FIR, Yoman had left home to buy meat but never returned. His family searched for him in the area and later reported the matter to the police when they failed to find him.

Police have launched an investigation and initiated efforts for the safe recovery of the abducted teenager.
