Abhishek Bachchan Credits Aishwarya Rai for His First Filmfare Award Win

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has won his first-ever Filmfare Award for Best Actor after 25 years in the film industry. At the **70th Filmfare Awards 2025**, he received the honor for his outstanding performance in the film *“I Want to Talk.”*
An emotional Abhishek Bachchan was seen holding back tears as he accepted the award, expressing deep gratitude toward his family. “This year marks 25 years of my journey in cinema. It has always been my dream to receive this award in front of my family,” he said.
The actor credited his wife **Aishwarya Rai Bachchan** and daughter **Aaradhya** for his success, saying, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for allowing me to live my dream. I know it’s because of your sacrifices that I stand here today.”
He dedicated the award to his father, legendary actor **Amitabh Bachchan**, and his daughter, Aaradhya, saying, “I dedicate this award to two of my heroes — my father and my daughter.”
Abhishek also thanked all the directors and producers who believed in him throughout his career, adding, “The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has definitely been worthwhile.”
Recently, Abhishek appeared in *Housefull 5* alongside **Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa,** and **Jacqueline Fernandez.** His next film, *King*, will see him share the screen with **Shah Rukh Khan** and **Suhana Khan.** The award marks a significant milestone in Abhishek Bachchan’s long and evolving career in Indian cinema.
