Fugitive Wanted by NAB for 15 Years Arrested at Karachi Airport

KARACHI: A fugitive wanted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for 15 years was arrested at Jinnah International Airport.
According to officials, the accused, **Kamran Ahmed Khan**, arrived in Karachi from **Uganda**, where he was detained by **FIA Immigration** upon arrival. His name had been placed on the **stop list**.
In an attempt to evade arrest, the accused used a **fake Maltese passport and resident card**, which he reportedly obtained with the help of an agent for **6,000 US dollars**. However, investigations revealed that the documents were **forged**, and travel records showed that he had **never visited Malta**.
A **corruption reference** against Kamran Ahmed Khan was filed by **NAB Karachi in 2010**. Initial investigations indicated that he had fled to the **UAE** soon after the case was registered.
The FIA handed the arrested fugitive over to **NAB authorities** for further investigation.
