Imran Khan Directs PTI MPAs to Resign from Punjab Assembly Committees: Barrister Gohar

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has announced that party founder Imran Khan has instructed all PTI members of the Punjab Assembly to resign from the provincial standing committees.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar said, “We have 107 MPAs in Punjab and 14 standing committees. Imran Khan has directed that all members resign from these committees.”
He confirmed that *Sohail Afridi* has been finalized by Imran Khan as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding, “The CM is the one Khan Sahib has approved—Sohail Afridi will be the Chief Minister.”
Gohar stated that *Ali Amin Gandapur* was removed from the post due to security and administrative concerns in the province, emphasizing that Imran Khan spoke very positively about Gandapur.
He further revealed that once the new government is formed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, changes in the provincial cabinet will also take place. “If I resign now, the party will completely collapse,” he added.
