Railway Worker Killed in Blast on Track Ahead of Jaffar Express Arrival in Naseerabad

NASEERABAD: A **railway worker was killed** in an explosion on the railway track near the **Pat Feeder Canal** in Naseerabad on Monday, shortly before the scheduled passage of the **Jaffar Express**.

According to **police officials**, unidentified assailants had **planted a time bomb** on the railway line. The blast occurred just moments before the passenger train was due to pass through the area.

Authorities said the **explosion caused partial damage to the track**, prompting railway officials to **halt all passenger trains** at nearby stations as a precautionary measure.

**SSP Ghulam Sarwar** confirmed that one **railway employee lost his life** in the incident. A police investigation and security sweep of the surrounding area have been launched to trace those responsible for the attack.
