Housemaid and Mother Arrested in Rawalpindi for Stealing Gold Jewelry from Employer’s Home

RAWALPINDI: The Women Police Station in Rawalpindi arrested a housemaid and her mother for stealing gold jewelry from their employer’s residence.

According to police, the stolen items included a gold locket worth over Rs200,000, along with Rs73,000 recovered from the sale of other jewelry pieces.

Investigations revealed that the housemaid, in the absence of her employer, committed the theft in collusion with her father and mother. The Women Police registered a case and arrested both the maid and her mother, while efforts are underway to apprehend the father for further recovery.

SP Potohar Talha Wali stated that those involved in crimes against citizens’ life and property will not escape the law’s grip.
