Kajol Reveals Life-Changing Lesson From Her Son’s Innocent Question

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Kajol shared a touching personal experience on her talk show that left a lasting impact on her life and perspective.

During the latest episode of *Too Much*, co-hosted by Kajol and Twinkle Khanna with guests Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, the actress spoke about parenting and the valuable lessons children can teach.

When Alia asked Kajol for a key parenting tip, she simply replied: *“Just listen to them… only listen.”* She explained that parents often underestimate their children, assuming they don’t know much, but even small questions from them can carry deep wisdom.

Recalling a memorable incident, Kajol said her son Yug, at the age of eight, once asked her: *“Mom, how much do you love yourself?”* She answered, “About 60 to 70 percent.” To this, Yug immediately responded: *“No, Mom, you should always love yourself 100 percent.”*

Kajol admitted that her son’s words struck her deeply and became a lifelong reminder to practice self-love.
