Karachi Policeman Suspended Over Alleged Sexual Assault and Threats Against Woman

Karachi: A police constable posted at **Mithadar Police Station** has been suspended after being accused of **sexually assaulting a woman and issuing threats**, officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to South Zone Police, **DIG South Syed Asad Raza** took immediate notice of the incident after the victim lodged a formal complaint at the DIG South’s complaint cell.

The accused policeman, identified as **Zaryab**, was suspended from duty, and a **transparent inquiry** has been ordered against him.

Police officials stated that the inquiry has been formally launched to investigate the allegations of **sexual assault and intimidation**, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
