Military Operations Not a Solution; People Need Rights and Good Governance: JI Leader Hidayat ur Rehman

QUETTA:Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and MPA, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch, has said that **military operations and the use of force are not wise solutions**, while the people of Balochistan continue to suffer from unemployment, closed borders, lack of quality education, and inadequate healthcare facilities.

Speaking at various events and during meetings with delegations in Quetta, the JI leader said that the government remains a silent spectator while **security institutions are focused on using force**, leaving the people in distress and the youth in despair.

He stressed that ensuring people’s rights, honest governance, and accountability are essential. Referring to the **unanimous rejection of the Mines and Minerals Bill in the Balochistan Assembly**, he said it was a positive step that echoed Jamaat-e-Islami’s long-standing demand.

Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman said the public has placed their trust in Jamaat-e-Islami because of its commitment to defending rights and solving issues with integrity. “We will not disappoint our workers and voters. The party’s honesty, sincerity, and service without discrimination are the reasons why people’s trust in Jamaat-e-Islami is growing,” he added.

He highlighted that **Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a week across Balochistan to spread the message of Islamic thinker Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi**, ensuring that his vision reaches the masses.

He further said that conspiracies have always been created to block Jamaat-e-Islami’s way to Parliament, but those behind such schemes will fail. “Whether we win votes or not, Jamaat-e-Islami will continue serving people without discrimination of race, color, or religion,” he remarked, adding that the public is now more aware of which political party truly stands by them in times of crisis.
